So Sunday saw my last real training ride, a slow spin up our local hill - the Barillette.

It is a 'vache' of a ride and for my friends that are doing l'Etape next week - if you know the Barillette then you know the Semnoz, the last hill on the Etape.

Legs are feeling a bit heavy but all in all in good shape.

Bikes are cleaned and tuned, clothes and essentials are pretty much together. Off to London for a short business trip then just a few more sleeps until the off.

Had my first donation to my just giving page which I am elated about - thanks Mr Levy - very generous. http://www.justgiving.com/Archie289
